1)               All visitors to Major Tool & Machine, Inc. (“Major Tool”) upon arrival will either register or check in under a prior registration in the reception area. Visitors will be asked to remain in the reception area until a proper escort is available. All visitors will receive a badge identifying them as visitors to the company.  Visitors will be required to wear their ID badge supplied to them at the reception area for the duration of their visit. Visitors are requested to return their ID badge and check out with the receptionist upon their departure.

 

2)               Every visitor will be required to declare whether he or she is a U.S. Person or a Foreign Person (as defined in Sections 120.15 and 120.16 of the ITAR, respectively). Upon arrival, visitors will be required to provide proof of citizenship and identification. Non-U.S. persons who are unable to provide acceptable proof of citizenship will not be permitted to access Major Tool & Machine’s facility. Foreign Persons or visitors representing a foreign-owned or controlled business will be subject to restrictions governed by U.S. Export Control Regulations.

 

3)               Visitors are not permitted to bring photography-capable equipment (including cameras) onto the premises, nor are visitors permitted to take any photographs without prior authorization from Major Tool’s Compliance Officer (or his/her designate).

 

4)               Visitors will not be shown any restricted items during their visit, or in connection with any other communication or interaction with company employees.  This includes physical access to restricted items, as well as access to areas where controlled data, information, and equipment are housed.  This also includes access to areas where technologies or manufacturing “know-how” of restricted items is stored or disclosed.  If there is a need to show visitors restricted items, or otherwise grant visitors access to restricted items, the Compliance Officer will review the implications of such disclosure prior to the visit or access taking place.  The Compliance Officer will take appropriate precautions to ensure that no violations of U.S. export control regulations occur in connection with any visit. 

 

5)               During any face-to-face meeting, teleconference, online meeting, webinar, or remote-hosted work session, of any kind, all Major Tool employees involved will take appropriate steps to ensure that no restricted items are used by, or in any way disclosed to, Foreign Persons, without first obtaining the required license or agreement from the appropriate U.S. governmental agency.

 

6)               No restricted items will be presented or disclosed by Major Tool during any meetings which are open to the public.  This includes, but is not limited to, trade shows, industry association meetings, conventions, or other public forums where Major Tool and its employees are present.  

 

7)               Visitors must exercise caution in FOD Designated Areas. These areas are segregated by barriers and/or signage for purposes of performing work considered to be a high risk for foreign object damage.

 

8)               All visitors must identify any controlled items in their possession prior to obtaining facility access. A list of prohibited items is displayed in the receptionist area and includes but may not be limited to: cameras or camera-enabled devices, weapons of any kind and/or hazardous chemicals.

 

9)               For the health of our guests and employees, use of tobacco is limited to a designated area behind Plant 1. Please let your host know if it is necessary for you to use that area.
